Camellias are versatile, handsome all year round, great for gardens, hedging and pots. They can also be espaliered, used for background plantings, groundcovers or accent plants. Three types of Camellia:
SASANQUA
In flower from February - August
Very hardy, free blooming and early flowering from Feb-Aug.
Great for landscaping – as specimens, screens and hedges, espaliers, hanging baskets or pots.
JAPONICA
In flower from June - September
The best known – handsome foliage – flower sizes vary from miniatures of less than 5cm up to big 20cm semi-doubles. Great as general garden plantings and pots.
RETICULATAS
In flower from June - August
The largest flowering, some up to 24cm soup plate size.
